Lofty Eagle Gallery and Art Studio Beverley Carhart - Artist Profile I am a native of Albany, New York, and I’ve lived in Voorheesville, New York since 1957. Here I work from my home studio and art gallery. Visitors are welcome, but by appointment only. I started on my art adventure in 1967, and have studied at such schools as the State University, Cape Cod School of Color, and Malden Bridge School for Portraitures. Also I served an appWrenticeship in graphics arts and in custom framing. My work has been in one woman shows, and I have also participated in jury and invitational shows. These paintings have been procured as far away as The Netherlands, Italy, New Zealand, and Korea, as well as here in the United States. Gallery associations include upper Adirondacks, Cape Cod, Schenectady Museum, and the Albany History and Art Museum. I teach water color, oils, and pastels in group and private lessons in my studio for beginners and advanced students. Lectures and slide presentations on my artistic insights may be arranged for small or large groups. Consultations for commission are welcomed. |
